Keep the Show on the Road!
Dave, Now that is one impressive group of “celebrities!” How do you attract so many? An aside: It is hard to imagine a “Nelle Belle” jeep in an action western today. If it was named, it would be more like the Devastator or the Destructor. Maybe in '46 we had had enough of real mayhem. Anyway, that is a great line up, and I'm glad those icons are still around. Well worth a visit!! Dave Reese
I know it took months of hunting. Some are local and were easy, and some are coming from the Petersen Museum in L.A. I know I helped with a lot of searches via the internet trying to track down cars we wanted... I look forward to being able to post photos of these cars soon. Keep the Show on the Road!
Dave, Interesting! The fact that you had to search for these American icons makes the event all the more impressive. And it appears you have something for every generation. Really impressive. I hope someone is compiling, and will show, a video that features old movie clips of each vehicle in action. I also hope that the promotion team very early on posts videos on You Tube highlighting each vehicle and the event overall. Congratulations on what will certainly be a success!
