Come to Whet Thursdays at the Metal Museum: ’70s Soul Edition. Check out this FREE event that delivers Soul ‘70s. Come dressed in your best ‘70s-themed outfit for a costume contest.
Memphis-based Soul & Parliament will be the featured band, with Opera Memphis giving a performance during intermission.
Refreshments will be available for purchase from Tipsy Tumbler. Also, purchase a meal from the food truck Pok Cha’s Egg Rolls or a frozen treat from Mempops.
In addition to lawn games and metalsmithing demonstrations, there will also be a free hands-on activity for visitors while supplies last.
