Vinton Mardi Gras Celebration

Frills, feathers and Mardi Gras magic will be in full swing during the Town of Vinton’s Mardi Gras celebration in downtown.
The Knights of Columbus hosts a gumbo cook-off at 8 a.m. When, teams begin cooking. Watch a parade at 1 p.m. on February 15. Furthermore, starts at Vinton Middle School and ends at Knights of Columbus Hall. As, gumbo judging begins at 2 p.m. Free gumbo tasting begins after the judging.
