Ulster County Fair

A family-fun tradition since 1886, the Ulster County Fair features midway rides and games. Furthermore, enjoy concerts, Robinson’s Racing Pigs, Two by Two Zoo, and Butterfly Experience. Also, there’s Wednesday night fireworks. Plus, horse and livestock shows, truck and tractor pulls. Check out chainsaw carving champion Josh Landry, 4-H and community exhibits, wool spinning and weaving demonstrations. In addition, taste favorite fair food and more.
Unlimited midway rides, shows and entertainment are included with fair admission. Headline concert acts are Thunder Ridge (7 pm Tuesday); Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters (8 pm Wednesday); The Charlie Daniels Band (8 pm Thursday); Keith Anderson (4 pm and 8 pm Friday); Jenny Tolman (7 pm Saturday); Cale Dodds (8 pm Saturday); and Journey former lead singer Steve Augeri (5:30 pm Sunday).
While, other events include the Garden Tractor Pull (6 pm Tuesday); Horse Shows (Wednesday – Sunday); Truck Pull (7 pm Thursday); Antique Tractor Pull (6 pm Friday); and Baby Contest (11 am Sunday).
Pay-one-price general admission (for adults and children 36 inches and taller) is $17 Wednesday thru Sunday. Even more, FREE for seniors ages 62 and older on Thursday till 4 p.m.
On Tuesday (Carload Night), fair admission, rides, shows and entertainment are $50 per vehicle for up to 8 occupants.
The fair opens at 4 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday thru Sunday. Fair gates close at 10 p.m. Tuesday thru Thursday, midnight Friday and Saturday and 8 p.m. Sunday. Also, Midway hours are 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday thru Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
