Suffolk Peanut Fest

41st annual family-friendly festival, Suffolk Peanut Fest, honors Suffolk’s agriculture heritage and devotion to peanuts. Features midway rides, live music, a demolition derby, mud jam, motorcycle rally, petting zoo, and arts & crafts exhibits. Art Gallery Tent, commercial exhibits, bingo, contests, carnival games, fair food and Saturday night fireworks.
Highlights include the Demolition Derby (7 p.m.) and Kids in America: Totally 80s Tribute Band (9 p.m.) on Friday. Mud Jam (1 p.m.), Peanut Butter Sculpture Contest (2 p.m.), and William Michael Morgan (8:30 p.m.) on Saturday. Swamp Roar Motorcycle Rally Send-off (10:45 a.m.), Gospel Showcase (3 p.m.) and Craig Morgan (5:15 p.m.) on Sunday.
Festival admission is $10, $30 for a four-day pass, and FREE for children 10 and younger. While, $5 on Sunday for military and dependents (with ID).
On Thursday, Carload Day, admission and unlimited rides are $40 per vehicle for up to 8 passengers.
Ride tickets are $1.50 each, $25 for 20 tickets, or $50 for 50 tickets plus 1 free ride. (Rides take 2 or more tickets each.) Also, unlimited ride wristbands are available on Sunday for $30.
Midway hours are 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, and noon to 11 p.m. Friday. Furthermore, midway runs 10 a.m to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Festival hours are 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Also, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
