Society’s Gospel Concert

Come to Society’s Gospel Concert. As, the society holds its annual James Goodman Memorial Gospel Music Concert at Matlock Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Furthermore, the Hall is located at 980 Main St. in Jackson, SC.
Tickets will cost $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
Local singing legend Flo Carter and her daughter, Cookie Dodson, perform along with other local gospel singers. This year’s concert will be the fourth held in memory of society member and President James Goodman. Goodman died on Feb. 14, 2015. He was a novelist, poet and singer. Also, Goodman loved gospel music. So, the society felt this could be an annual tribute to a founding member who gave so much to the society. Please mark your calendars and buy your tickets early for this well-attended concert.
