Gulf Coast Shrimp & Jazz Festival

If you’re looking for a celebration of Louisiana food, Jazz music, and culture, you’ll find it during the Gulf Coast Shrimp & Jazz Festival. So. come to the Lake Charles Civic Center at 900 Lakeshore Drive on June 21 and June 22, 2019. Friday, the festival kicks off with Jazz After Dark, An Evening to Remember, starting at 7 p.m. Saturday, the gates open at 11 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. Attend a free Jazz Workshop from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Live music acts, a Jazz Exhibit and more follow.
