Fire Building

Come catch the fire bug at Rivers Bridge Fire Building. While, learn how to build a campfire and discuss how Civil War soldiers made their fire. Some of which were way bigger than what we will be making.
Everyone will have the skills needed to start a small campfire by the end of the event. Even more, using only matches, a cutting tool, and naturally occurring fuel just like Civil War soldiers did. Ages 10 and up. Also, a responsible adult should accompany all children. Program runs 45 min – 1 hour. This event, also, occurs on April 10, 2020.
