Come to the Cultural Series: Turtle Island Quartet. This high flying program from the two-time Grammy winning Quartet pays homage to the incandescent visionary brilliance of jazz saxophonist Charlie Parker. While, the genius of his improvisations almost single-handedly catapulted jazz from pop style into art music. Certainly, indelibly altering the musical landscape of America.
