Christmas in the 1800’s for Essential Tremor

Take a trip back to the 19th century when the Diann Shaddox Foundation for Essential Tremor Research presents Christmas in the 1800’s.
Christmas in the 1800’s for Essential Tremor will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Aiken Municipal Building downtown in the Alley Aiken, SC 29801.
Each ticket is $50 and may be purchased online.
Ticket includes a sit-down dinner, wine, coffee, sweet tea, sodas, dessert, music, Christmas Carols, and entertainment by Kim Poovey. You may even dress in 1800’s attire.
Author and historian Kim Poovey will be decked out in her historical garb and share tales of the bygone era. Kim Poovey is an author, storyteller, and living historian, and will transport you back in time to Christmas in the Victorian era. Having travelled the Southeast for more than 18 years, Ms. Poovey performs in period attire as noted historic characters such as Jane Austen and Scarlett O’Hara.
All proceeds go to support the Diann Shaddox Foundation for Essential Tremor programs to find a cause & cure for ET. Over 42 million people including children worldwide live with Essential Tremors, the largest movement disorder in the world.
