rudkipon66
We recently visited our niece Robin in New Harmony, IN (the golf cart capitol of Indiana, for your information). While there we came across an amazing bridge, made all the cooler by the signs on top of the bridge letting you know where you were going. I put pix of the bridge and a little history on my whatever you call it: https://rudkipon66.shutterfly.com/ cut and paste on your server and enjoy! Chris Rowland
Hey, I've been there! I have only seen it from the New Harmony side in 1989 and 1996, but didn't get to cross it. Thanks for the link to the hour-long video about the bridge that you posted: Thanks! Chris
mobilene
I got to drive that bridge back in '07. My sons and I were on spring break and just drove around as much of Indiana as we could. We didn't particularly want to go into Illinois for anything but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to drive that bridge. So glad I did now. rudkipon66
It is an interesting story and amazing how a little bridge over the Wabash could stir up as much controversy as it did. SGF, KIp
