Spring Cruise Weekend Choices

I did get by the old factory and photograph the Gennett Parrot and was told, though not by any official, that the Walk of Fame does not yet exist.

Yes, I do feel stupid  . Had I walked across the street from the parrot instead of asking someone in a pub (Well, he was the owner!), I'd have found that Walk of Fame. Since I saw a Gene Autry mural in Ohio last weekend, I've chosen a shot of Gene's entry to prove I found the Walk this weekend. BabyBoomerBob: Uncle Dave Macon and Fats Waller get in September 6. Read all about it.

P.S., Jennifer: I did a little geocaching on the way to the Walk of Fame and stopped by a "bug hotel" in Richmond. Someone called Lady Bug has obviously bought into the oft challenged claim that the entire state of Indiana is the "Crossroads of America" because she uses that name for this "hotel". It's just barely (approx. 1/2 mile) inside the state on a very short stretch of the National Old Trails Road. If you haven't, you should.
