DennyG Posted January 30, 2009 Report Share Posted January 30, 2009 A town not far from me is refurbishing one of those for use as a visitor's center but I understand that lack of funds may have stalled the project. There is a fully restored one at the Route 66 Museum in Clinton, OK. Just getting the shell in shape to host visitors is a very big job. Making it a diner again is huge.
