Lincoln Highway Queen

Lincoln Highway Day in La Porte, June 25, 1915. The Lincoln Highway Association made a film of scenes along the Lincoln Highway and La Port was one of 65 cities represented in the film. Thousands of people witnessed the greatest industrial parade in the history of La Porte. After the parade, L.H. Field Secretary H.C. Ostermann, selected Miss Dorothy Dolan from groups of girls in the La Porte Bay Tree Inn basketball team float. He though she was the prettiest girl in the parade. the camera man took pictures of Dorothy in the official Lincoln Highway (Stutz) car.
