The 'lower' U curve, looking westward



This is the lower U curve area on Sideling's west slope, this is probably the 3rd or 4th incarnation here, and was even sharper in earlier years. The tourist cabins on the curve are quite interesting, but should be photographed from a distance to respect private property. I always get a "strange" feeling in this area, it is really kind of spooky.(Ghosts of travelers past?) After all, this little place has been bypassed twice!
