Carl Fisher

Carl Fisher was the visionary and promoter who established the Indianapolis Speedway and set it in motion. He was also a huge promoter of autos in general and of flight being a contemporary of Orville and Wilbur Wright. Fisher was one of the original founders and promoters of the National Road.
