Conoco Station Remains - Arcadia, OK

The legend is that the owners of the station bought a set of $10 counterfeiting plates from a traveling salesman in the early 1930s during the Great Depression. Eventually the counterfeit $10 bills were traced back to the owners, who were arrested. The station closed and never reopened.
