It’s a brand new year for American Road Magazine and for American Road Trip Talk. Normally we use this podcast to introduce you to the people and places behind the stories in the magazine. This time around we are going to cast our gaze in another direction, forward into 2015... in Illinois, the home of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States.
Along Route 66 in Springfield, Illinois you will find the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2015, which is also the 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War. Our guest is Chris Wills, a spokesperson for the library and museum, has a whole year full of suggestions for your travels. Get your calendar ready to circle some dates for 2015.
