drivetheost
The Old Spanish Trail (OST) linked the Atlantic to the Pacific along a scenic highway that strung together like jewels the best of the South and Southwest. From the beaches of Florida, through the Cajun Country of Louisiana, across the vast expanses of Texas and New Mexico, and finally to balmy California, the OST enchants travelers. OK, so what? If you like boiled peanuts, mesquite BBQ and red enchiladas, this is your road. Join us in a discussion on this landmark highway and its cousins -- the Bankhead, Broadway of America and Lee highways -- that shared its route.
