SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND HEADACHES ON YOUR NEXT TRIP

When you and your family of four are packed in the minivan on the road this holiday season there is a new service that allows you to get information that you need -- for free.

Instead of giving in to the knee jerk need to dial 411, save yourself the buck fifty or more and dial 1-800-Free411 instead. The call is totally free and you receive the same exact database of listings you would have if you had called the old directory assistance number.

Jingle Networks launched this free service in September of 2005 and since then has saved consumers more than $150 Million and has processed over 120 million calls. A recent survey showed that 71 percent of consumers strongly believe 411 services should be free of charge.

The way it works is callers request the number they need and listen to 10-15 seconds of direct advertising spots before connecting to their requested listing. While consumers have learned to tune out most advertising (whether TV or online) as background noise, they will likely be happy to hear the brief spot of commercial since it is usually targeted to exactly the type of listing they had requested.

So say you want the number for Blue Cab in Detroit, you might hear a Red Cab promotional offering of $5 off your next taxi ride across town, that’s even more savings. Some users report up to $20 savings a month by using Free411 services.
