mga707
Jim, That is quite a find. Interesting story. Dave Keep the Show on the Road! I loved the book--recommended it on this site when it came out a couple of years ago. The HST Nat'l. Historic Site in Independence is the obvious place for the New Yorker to end up. It looks restorable, and there are plenty of old Chrysler Corp. buffs out there (hello, Richard Carpenter!).
DennyG
Good story. I hope the New Yorker finds a home and I agree that the library & Museum near Independence would be a good one. I know they didn't fit the story but I'd still like to see some of the other Creason treasures.
Dave Reese
Thanks for the update. I hope this can be restored and tied to Harry somewhere, even the Little White House in Key West, although Missouri makes more sense. And I agree, it is a great book. I have loaned out my copy several times so far.
knightfan26917
Wow ... that is a sweet find. I, too, hope a museum picks it up....
