Love that car tunes site. Lot of good stuff. Some of it I remember. In the 1950's section - an interesting one is The Ballad of Thunder Road as done by Robert Mitchum. Most people don't know that Mitchum did some recordings - I have a CD he did with a lot of great songs on it. Man had a great voice for sure.

A friend sent the links to me ... and I just had to share 'em. Too good NOT to share, imho. Glad you enjoyed 'em.

I've been known to spend a few too many hours on that site ... so many good tunes that it's hard not to just spend time listening and remembering....
