  6. From the album: US-23 - From Sea To Inland Sea

For the eighth day of the road trip, I stayed in Columbus all day. Plenty to see: we enjoyed the Rose Garden, German Village area, and ended with one of only 5 drive-ins along US-23, the South Drive-In.

  7. From the album: US-23 - From Sea To Inland Sea

On the seventh day of the journey, this old Pure Gasoline station in Delaware, Ohio caught my eye. Someone is nicely keeping it painted in the original colors, and the service bay is still being used for service. Only missing the sign and gas pumps!

  8. Anyone have a favorite spot along US-23?

  9. From the album: US-23 - From Sea To Inland Sea

I like bridges anyway and the arches of this one grabbed my attention as Roadtrip-'62 passed through Toledo on the sixth day of the journey.

  10. From the album: US-23 - From Sea To Inland Sea

During the fifth day of my trip on http://www.roadtrip6.../Post041111.htm, I stopped where US-23 used to enter Ann Arbor from the north. The former bridge over the Huron River is now a pedestrian bridge on a multi-use trail, with the newer freeway bridge just a bit to the east.
