The City of Aiken Department of Parks and Recreation Presents the 45th Annual Hopelands Concert Series : Maureen Simpson & The Aiken Chorale Society. A dedicated community chorus provides the best singing experience to interested and talented singers throughout the Aiken area. Similarly, the repertoire is wide. Early music to last year’s hit movie theme. Brahms in German, Puccini in Italian, or John Williams in English – celebrate the best in composition.
The highly anticipated Hopelands Concert Series returns. Bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating. Picnic dinners are welcomed, but alcohol is strictly prohibited. FREE admission. A new and exciting change this season! Concerts forced indoors during the months of May and June takes place at the Aiken Senior & Youth Center, located at 841 Edgefield Ave. NW.
Event parking is located across the street from Hopelands Gardens at the Green Boundary Club, 780 Whiskey Road. Similarly, handicap parking is available at Rye Patch on Berrie Road and Hopelands Gardens on Dupree Place.
