Mardi Gras Children’s Day & Parade

Spend the day at the Mardi Gras Children’s Day & Parade:
Children’s Day from noon to 3 p.m. at the Lake Charles Civic Center. Even more, old-time Louisiana culture, arts and crafts, Mardi Gras music and magic.
Furthermore, Mardi Gras Madness 5k at 2:30 p.m. in downtown-Midtown Lake Charles at 200-298 Gill St. The race kicks off at the Police Jury Parking lot (the corner of Lakeshore Drive and Gill Street). While, this point to point race coincides with the Mardi Gras Children’s parade route. Also, enjoy food, King cake, music, and beverages at the finish!
Finally, the Children’s Parade at 3:30 p.m. in Downtown-Midtown. A purple, green and gold parade for the young and young at heart.
