Louisiana Pirate Festival

Food, music, carnival rides and pirates! The Louisiana Pirate Festival along the shores of Lake Charles and at the Lake Charles Civic Center. On Friday, festival pirates land along the shoreline, and Mayor Hunter of the City of Lake Charles walks the plank! Special events, Todd Armstrong Carnival Rides, Louisiana crafts and the culinary coffer throughout the festival.
Don’t miss the popular pirogue building competition! Also, other activities include the Sonny the Birdman for the kids, cannon demonstrations, novelty vendors, and costume contests. Furthermore, Gator Grand Prix Go-Kart Races, the Barbecue Competitors Alliance (BCA) Cajun Pirate Cook-off, and more!
Entertainment packs the schedule. Similarly, starts with Three Sheets at 6 p.m. on Friday, Johnny Jimenez follows at 7:30 p.m. Finally, Rusty Metoyer & The Zydeco Krush at 9:30 p.m.
