King Lear / Shakespeare in the Park

July 5, 2018

King Lear / Shakespeare in the Park

What happens when a King abuses his absolute power? When he betrays and condemns his faithful child? William Shakespeare’s masterful tragedy goes on a journey of power, betrayal, misogyny and reconciliation. Experience the consequences and controversy when King Lear prefers flattering falseness to the truth he needs to hear.

One of Shakespeare’s most popular play. King Lear features James Pickering in the title role, Jonathan Wainwright and a whole cast of top Milwaukee-area talent. Directed by the inimitable Ms. Lisa Gaye Dixon.
