Addison County Fair & Field Days

Addison County Fair & Field Days, a family-fun tradition since 1948, features midway rides, and live music. In addition, an opening night parade and closing night fireworks, racing pigs, and Tom Joyce “The Magic Man”.  Certainly, demolition derbies, truck and tractor pulls, horse shows, livestock exhibits and events. Also, CWtrials Bike Stunt Show, Pirate Man Dan shows, Children’s Barnyard and Youth Area activities. Furthermore, Cairo Northern Clowns, a Milking Parlor & Dairy Bar, and Maple Sugar House. Finally, exhibits, 4-H hands-on workshops, demonstrations, woodcarving, contests, fair food and more.

Fair highlights include:

Open Miniature Donkey Show (10 a.m.), Gymkhana (5 p.m.), Addison County Gospel Choir (7 p.m.) on Tuesday
Ox Pulling (10:30 a.m.), Demolition Derby (7 p.m.) on Wednesday
Pedal Tractor Pull (11 a.m.), Demolition Derby (7 p.m.), The Horse Traders band (8 p.m.) on Thursday
Horse Pulling (10 a.m.), Tractor & Mini-Truck Pulls (noon), Sunnyland Blues (7 p.m.) on Friday
Baked Bean Bonanza Contest & Samples (10 a.m.), Tethered Hot Air Balloon Rides (6 p.m.), and Fireworks (9:15 p.m.) on Saturday.

Daily admission includes grandstand events, shows, exhibits and parking: $10 for ages 12 and older on Tuesday and $12 Wednesday thru Saturday; $5 for ages 6-11; free for children under 6. Even more, free for seniors on Tuesday with a Green Mountain Passport.

Unlimited ride bracelets are $15 from 6 p.m. to 11 p,m, Tuesday; $20 all day Wednesday; $17 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday; $12 from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, $17 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday; and $17 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday. Furthermore, the midway opens at 1 p.m. Tuesday and noon Wednesday thru Saturday.
